I'm sure he said heroin but I could be wrong, he was Canadian so I'm guessing he served in Canada. Morphine I can vouch for too, after 10+ years of back pain I had a fusion and after recovery I had a morphine pump. They said push the button when you think you need relief. It's a good thing I was never in the drug scene because damn it felt good to be pain free after all those years. I was pushing the button too often just in case the pain got bad and they took it away the next day.🤣

I know nothing about them. Never done them, never plan on it. I smoked weed in H.S. and would never do that again either. I'm also more of a social drinker. I drink on very rare occasions in the winter, but a lot more in the summer because of the lake vibes and the people out there. I've had some of nights where I've embarrassed myself or did something dumb and had to make some apologies but for the most part, I can keep it pretty calm and just wake up feeling like shit.
If you have to apologize after a night of drinking you're probably an alcoholic.

Or you just said some dumb shit, or maybe broke something. Nothing serious but enough to make a call. I've maybe made 2 or 3 of those calls in my life. I'm far from an alcoholic. I was one at one point in my life, but not anymore. I can tell you the beer that is currently in my fridge has been there for a few weeks now.

There was a guy a few years older than me who quit school but hung out around school kids, looking back I reckon he was dealing drugs but one time there was a group of kids standing around him and I walked up and he was shooting up whisky or some hard liquor in his veins. It was a shocker to me and good for me to see because I instantly had a phobia for needles and needle freaks, Not that I would have ever shot up anyway but it made it clear to me who to stay away from. This was in the early 70s I can't imagine what happens on the streets today

He’s a Canuck and a crazy pilot too!

Why are we talking past tense? Is he dead?

Shrooms and other psychedelics really scare big pharma with how they cure ptsd and other ailments of the brain and they loose a money maker
I believe that shrooms and lsd are illegal schedule 1 because thats the precursor for antidepressants. That is the reason why heroine is also schedule 1 drug because they synthesize it to make pain killers. JMTC

I don’t think they should be available at the gas station but the medicinal qualities need to be researched more

When you cross the line from a cucumber to a pickle you can't go back. That's the way it is.

I've read a lot of good things about micro dosing with shrooms. As far as fentanyl goes, that's a hell of a good drug in moderation too. Last winter I pneumonia and then pretty much smashed my left rib cage and couldn't breath. Was in er having muscle and bronchial spasms all night long and they wouldn't give me anything for pain. Dr wanted to transfer me and I refused. Was on 10 liters of 02 with 50 percent 02 level , I was mad as a wet hornet because of refusal for pain meds . Dr had my wife trying to talk me into transferring but I was ready to meet my maker vs another ambulance ride. They made me sign a form before they gave me a shot of fentanyl and within 1/2 hour I was breathing just fine and sitting up in a chair pushing on my rib cage and watching it move 3-4 inches. Without a doubt fentenal saved my life, I never would have made a 1.5 hour ambulance ride. There's good and bad in everything. I remember Bobcat saying he was a med. on the military and carried heroin in his kit. Most "bad" drugs are or were medicine that are abused just the same as alcohol. Problem is the medical industry has to be so careful these days for wrongful lawsuits
There is no doubt that micro dosing with shrooms can be very therapeutic. Also a lot of suburban housewives do it as a slight mood booster. I hear it makes you happy...

Yes people need explicit guidance when it comes to things that can hurt them, thats why the one chip challenge is no longer available because some kid ended up dieing. Then again it could be sold in a pharmacy like psudoefedrine over the counter or at a place that sells weed. As we know anything can kill you if the right circumstances happen, but doing drugs that can alter your perception should be done under strict guidance of some sort. Best hign i ever had was doing shrooms nearly 30 years ago, but i never took too many at once because i listened to the guy who sold them to me.
The ironic thing about growing happy shrooms is you can buy the spores, the growing equipment but its illegal to grow them.

If any of you dopefiends need new paraphernalia, Fargo is handing out pipes.

PS. On a sidenote, one of the things on the list of things that officially makes a city a shithole is handing out free drug paraphernalia. I think it is number two. Congratulations to Fargo on checking that box. Only a couple more to go.
Spoken like a true democrat who wants to control our lives. Next you'll want my guns.
