I have a handful of fish to pick up to be mounted from Bismarck on Saturday, so I figured I'd kill as many birds with one stone as possible. If you live in the Bismarck area and have a fish you'd like mounted PM me the details and any questions you have.

I'll be coming down Saturday morning.

My fish mounts are more about a memory than the size of the fish. MSA's doing a couple of special fish for me that have NOTHING to do with fish size. I'm hoping his skills and talent can resurrect and revitalize those memories for me.

Yep, I know. You were VERY clear on that when we discussed it and I appreciated the honesty and your willingness to give it a shot. Hence the "Hoping" in my post. No worries if it doesn't work out.

The other problem KDM, is i might like that mount too much and just tell you i screwed it up. If i can get the colors right on those theyre going to be stunning. That variation of oscar with the big eye spot highlighted in blaze red are my favorite.

YEP!!! That'd be da one!!!!!!!!
Wow, I didn't know you really meant an Oscar. They are loads of fun. My dad had a couple of giants. Used to feed them crickets, minnows, earthworms, nightcrawlers, and doritos. And I'm not kidding.

I had some baby bullheads I caught by hand once, when I was a kid. Lasted about 3 seconds in that tank. Spines out, down they went. Those Oscars were the most personable fish I've seen in my life. They actually got excited when you'd walk in the room. Of course they were hungry, but they were very fun fish.

KDM wasn't able to fish one day so he caught his daughters pet oscars out of the aquarium.

These weren't tank fish. These were wild fish caught in Panama out of Lake Gatun back in 1999.
