There are some names that everyone knows. It drives me nuts not knowing what some of the long stringy "junk weeds" are.

Anybody know of a good online guide to weed identification?

They sometimes hold fish and it would do me well to get the taxonomy down better.

Sak has cabamba weeds. Guy I know from east recognized them years ago when we were fishing one day
Never heard of them before but they are all over and hold fish

thanks - yes, I recognize cabomba and fanwort from my aquarium freak days

but where I need most help is to ID some of the skinny/skanky crap weeds that nobody would want in their aquarium
