Looks like it uses its beak as a dagger essentially... interesting.

Yeah, I thought that was cool too. I had no idea that they spear their prey at first. Maybe it was an accident, but it looked like it did it a couple of times. Easier to swallow dead prey, than when it's kicking, I suppose.

Pretty cool!

Watched one for 10 minutes taking on a 5 foot bull snake. He never got it done but it was epic . Half the time all you could see from the beak to the wings was snake .
