I'm sorry, could you and/or Wags explain? From my ignorance it appears creepy.

If you guys think I'm really insulted, I'm very disappointed.

I distinctly remember a few years back whilst camping at a State Park( I believe it was in Mn but maybe not), posters in the bathrooms warning us of the dangers of lead and lead poisoning of birds. I also recall many moons before that even, that those drinking glasses that McD's used to sell., collector drinking glasses, buy the whole set of 6 or whatever they were peddling at the time, that it was found that there was extremely low amounts of lead in the colored paint on outside of glass so they quit selling them. While it is true some of my wardrobe may be mistaken for a wal mart shopper, I certainly knew enough that I should drink out of those glasses versus eating them.

Don't forget that the lead in the venison deal was started because someone from thePeregrineSociety got a 100lbs of the venison that was supposedly donated to the hungry. I'll never donate to them again.

I always wondered why anybody would nibble on paint chips. I had the opportunity a lot growing up poor and all - it just never dawned on me to nibble on our house.[/QUOTE

When our oldest daughter was teething she cleaning all the paint off the top bar of the crib railing. She seems normal except for a time in college when she went down the extreme liberal path. That changed big time when she started earning her own money and paying her own bills.

No, after that experience i am ingesting lead paint chips in hopes of erasing that moment from both my short and long term memory banks. The term "slush pocket" is as vile, horrifying, sinister, and as reprehensible as muttering the name valdemort...
