not for a boat but on one of my motorcycles i put an antigravity lithium-ion battery and when it senses a constant drain like over winter it shuts off. in the spring there is a button switch you depress and resets and you have a charged battery.

I have a 48volt golf cart that takes 8 6 volt batteries, that is a $2,000 bill every 5-6 years.
Would this new lithium ordeal fix this sonofabitching expense?

I put a li-time in my 36 volt cart that is used to putt around the camp ground. If I remember right it was about $600 with a charger. Seems to work well for that purpose.

UPDATE. I bought the 36v 100ah for my ulterra. 36v 21ft nitro. Absolutely awesome, I would charge every 3-4 trips but only because I felt like I should. I don’t think I ever had it below 20%

I also got a 12v 100ah to run my 3 graphs and livewell on. I would go with the 140ah for that so I could run 3 full days instead of 2. Overall Im happy with them. Now the biggest question will be, to see how they survived the winter

I take it you didn't bring them indoors?
I was hearing conflicting reports so I took mine out of the boat..pain in the ass. If I could leave them in the cold storage garage though I sure would. Especially now that I am running 5 of the things!

Couple hrs of removal time is worth it for the investment and piece of mind.

Nope didn’t even unplug them, there is a master power on/off that you can switch on your phone I believe though. But I don’t think I did that even. All I did was charge them up good
