Well if your four miles away from a real road and the next prairie trail is a couple miles over that's more back country then some of the wilderness areas I lived around in the high country.

Bulls shit wilderness areas don't allow motorized travel. If you can drive there it is not back country

Well no shit sherlock no getting by you....well other then the fact that that doesn't mean there isn't a road a half mile over one way and a mile over the other! You best go look up the definition of back country because much of the western dakota more then qualify! now let's see you get from a couple miles north of selfridge to Fort Yates by going due east. And good luck getting on the couple prairie trails that are there since they tend to start in people's yards. There's a reason Sioux County had an expanding elk herd and almost no one knew about it because unless you own some of the ground back in there it's a hell of allot of work to get back into! do you get ridge runners in Sioux County sure a few but compared to Corson County it's a tiny fraction to what you see down there and roads even prairie trails are very sparse with many multiple mile runs with nothing but pasture ground between them.

At some point there is only so much bullshit that one can spew. It is not back country up there sure there are some spots in the middle of no where but back country it is not. The fucking time i have spent in porcupine and bull head and cannon ball would make your head explode. You act like you are some special fucking wizard of standing rock back country. there is no place up there where a guy could not walk out of in less than a day if he had to. Pretty sure no one is buying a delorme in reach or a sat phone for back country standing rock hunts. There i was lost in the back country of standing rock... the last time there was back country hugh glass was getting raped by a grizzly bear

back country

noun1.a sparsely populated rural region remote from a settled area.

By your definition only pretty much Alaska would apply since there are only a couple spots in the lower 48 that can't be walked out of in a day! Boy you get hung up on such a simple term for no good reason then to try and make a fight where none exist and yes I'm aware that only your opinion of sioux and Corson county is what counts because you are the Undisputed master of all things Standing Rock and I bow before your greatness!

Oh you are so right and getting on the short bus everyday was a chance to try and improve myself to the elite mobridge standards we all so long to meet! I'm sure there are many areas you can find with your unbelievably astute observational abilities that would only confuse a simpleton like myself. I have notified Webster that its dictionary is incorect and they should be awaiting your updated definition of backcountry that's apparently involves some sort of certain mileage minimum first and you being the foremost expert on that as well will be contacting them shortly so they can get the definition correct. again I bow to your greatness and your all-knowing inclusive and overwhelming knowledge of all things Standing Rock I guess I should have used that term middle country or maybe slightly more towards the front country to best and better Define where I was talking about! having no ability to take on such information without exploding my cranium I must only sit and listen as you speak so I can bask in your overwhelming knowledge and hope the tiniest bit might sink into my thick skull so that I may improve myself closer albeit nowhere near your awsome level of greatness!
