Well if your four miles away from a real road and the next prairie trail is a couple miles over that's more back country then some of the wilderness areas I lived around in the high country.

And good luck getting on the couple prairie trails that are there since they tend to start in people's yards. There's a reason Sioux County had an expanding elk herd and almost no one knew about it because unless you own some of the ground back in there it's a hell of allot of work to get back into! do you get ridge runners in Sioux County sure a few but compared to Corson County it's a tiny fraction to what you see down there and roads even prairie trails are very sparse with many multiple mile runs with nothing but pasture ground between them.
