Thanks. I can see the orange feet. Looks like it was a tough retrieve.
If I remember right it was the long bird 100 ish yards but the hard pert was the wind was blowing 30 that day so if the dogs faded to the wind it would put them in an area hard to recover from.

I was in the area the beginning of May and the only usable ramp was the one on the southeast side. The cement on the main ramp in the campground was out of the water already.

Check cattail Bay. I think it's usable not sure. Call n check. Yates ramp is sketchy, but fish are biting. I may try to get the Ranger in one more time this week. First I'm gonna wade out and see if I'll pop another tire. Still fkn pissed!

No, some type of debris washed into or on top of concrete. It's full of sand. Sharp rock or God knows what someone threw in the water. Kids swim there and some sketchy people hang out there.

Plus the ramp isn't sloped much at this water level. They added some concrete at the end of old ramp but it's not sloped much now. And probably 6 inches of sand on it.

If you use that ram stay close to the doc, cost me a prop last weekend when I was on the south side. I am thinking part of the ramp may heaved up and the concrete broke.

Had another good night on the water. Kept a 2 man limit and got really hot right at 9 pm.

But it's always fkn something. 1st trip, scratch boat on that shit dock in Yates. 2nd trip we started taking on water bilge pump not working, had 2 would have had more. Figure that out 3rd trip dog gets a crank in the mouth. Good fishing tho but quit at 8 fish and missed the last 45 minutes before sunset. 4th trip tonight everything was great. Until loading the boat we popped a trailer tire at that SHIT RAMP. Fk me!!
question for you guys ! how hot and ugly does it get up there in Aug? and hows the fishing then?
