There was no definite explanation on how funds were going to be appropriated, other than "the state will replace the funds".

I talked to several school board presidents, 2 county commissioners and several city council members. And there wasn't a single person in favor of it due to the vague explanation on how funds were going to be re-appropriated back to local communities and their subsidiaries.
Of course they would be against it..no more blank check.

I wonder if crack heads are in favor of cutting off access to crack?

Are pedophiles in favor of eliminating child porn on the web?

Are politicians in favor of eliminating the ability of manipulating property tax with a stroke of a pen........

what else would the spenders of property tax monies say. your entire list is people that spend tax payer monies and are paid and have benefits with tax payer money.

Again where is the money going to come from when property taxes are gone?
They will be forced to stop spending it on all the retarded shit they do. Thats thw part people are struggling to see. Why would we need to replace money that shouldn’t be spent like it is now. It’s like buying 6 cartons of cigs every week…. If I lose that funding now i stop buying cigs. This would have made spending foolishly a lot harder

There is the issue, they would, we know who they are, and they are the ones who control the price of your tax burden. The they issue is not an everyone issue, and I am not willing to give those who have the authority to take away from other things I have to.pay while at the same time allowing others to keep taking more.

The brain worm got you too. damn it.

Tonight on your way home be careful, the boogity man is out there, and he will get you.
Nope I don't have a problem with my tax burden and since this is not a statewide issue and rather a local issue. Perhaps johnr you should run for state tax commissioner or public auditor to fix the local tax problem.

No thanks,
but taking the beatings is going to end at some point, it might be when I eventually die.. but it will happen. We cannot continue to increase our burdens upon our tax payers. If you actually sit down sometime and calculate your income, and subtract all the taxes that are stolen from you for the greater good, you might have an eye opening out of body type experience, its enough already.

Again I already realize my tax burden, the issue here is its a local problem where those who have to power are allowing some to pay less while making others pay more. That's the real problem, the assessment end of the property tax is where change needs to come and that can only be fixed by putting the right people into that position. The way assessments are done needs to be revamped to allow for appraisal to be appealed to an independent appraisal. This not a fair trade wh

So you have no issue that millionaire property owners can get to buy up even more land as long as you get yours?
The millionaire's are going to buy the property with or without taxes as the taxes have very little if any affect on their pocket book, It is the average man that it affects more.
