Property Tax Credit

I see our new Govna wants the state to give us a tax credit of $1550 instead of the $500 they offered to pay.

I'm guessing when it comes time for this to get voted on by our elected officials. it will get voted down.

I want to be able to decide, and not pay if I am not going to use the service.

They said it would be to hard to single the people out when they went to pick up the bins. So basically everyone pays and if you decide not to participate they dont care. It should have never been put in place. Its a false sense of tree huggery. Love watching the two diesel garbage trucks hitting the same spot. I bet the diesel and emmisions that second truck produces alone would never cover the carbon footprint of me filling that bin every 2 weeks. I am all for green if it makes sense but the two trucks..nope not gonna convince me thats green.

Here in West Fargon --- we have road crews lotsa lotsa employees---- WF also owns at least two mill and overlay machines they tear up streets relay. What do these guys do in the middle of january. Commissioner was on da radiooo and said they sweep floors etc. It doesnt get any better.

Feel the same.
Once that second truck grabs the recycle it goes to a sorting facility where it is hand sorted by however many people, and put back onto trucks to send over to Bismarck, where I am sure it gets sorted again.
It would never pencil out if it wasn't government funded and forced.
