I definatly buy the Scheels rods for the warrenty! I can only think of one that broke while fishing and that was my son setting the shit out of a log. The rest have been either my carelessness or others that I have taken fishing. It's nice handing a $100 rod that I feel works well to someone you take fishing and not care what they do to it. By the way I tell everybody that I take fishing if you break it your taking the walk of shame into scheels on the way back. I keep fearing scheels is going to black list me one of these days.
