I pretty much overdid it as a youngster.

I'm lucky it didn't push me to harder stuff. It sure did some of my friends/classmates IMO.

I feel like it stunted my social life. You find yourself hanging out with others of the same cloth and that's a BIG hamper on developing a wider perspective on life.

It also might also have effed up my organizational and math skills. I was put in advanced classes in 6th grade and did well - but quickly lost interest after "having fun" became more important. By the time I got to graduate school I had to have a tutor for calculus, etc. WTF

So I get weed. I get the pros. I get the cons. Like anything else in life it's a double-edged knife.

I actually skipped that measure on the ballot because I'm so squarely on the fence that I can't decide one way or another. So I chose stay out of it and let the more decisive / interested decide.

I'm kinda glad it got shot down, but solely because I don't want to smell that crap every time I'm out in public for the rest of my days. šŸ„“
Thats a great take. Its honest and if some one is against it with views like that its your right. Really anything if you have a logical reason for or against i like having a smart debate about it. Its the people like down here that had the commercials it is making a generation of crack heads and meth users that is annoying . Just straight fear mongering

I voted for it even tho I don't partake anymore. Thought it would be neat to have the option to walk into the store and buy a doobie if one so chooses. It doesn't really matter though for the smokers. It's readily available if you want it anyways. Probably cheaper on the streets too. I always wanted it to pass so a guy had access to top shelf shit though. I'm a snob.

I don't believe that either.

Everyone can do it, if they WANT to.

No excuses, if you need help doing it, get it.

(I'm using "you" in general terms mind you guy) ;)
Aunt Bonnie, cannot go with out it, absolutely cannot. Its an all day, all evening, all the time lifestyle.

I agree, had the same people who were able to get 60+ percent of the population to agree with medical purposes had the same game plan with recreational. At the end of the day I still believe north dakota is too ultra conservative to allow recreational use to be allowed in our small town communities. Let's hope that the federal government makes the right decisions to relax the laws now, so that we can get the state to see that money can be made that can be beneficial for all of North Dakota.
You can go here and see how the votes went county by county

I voted for it, because we have enough laws telling us what we can/cant do
I also voted yes. Not because Iā€™m good with ā€œdrugsā€ Im not. But Im for personal choice and having another taxable revenue stream to offset some of the other areas we are taxed too hard in now. Also weed is everywhere and anywhere in ND now. Itā€™s not going away and most look at it like alcohol at this point. If people want to smoke weed and be pieces of shit thereā€™s a high likelyhood they already are pieces of shit. Iā€™d rather see legal weed here instead of the cartels shipping it up laced with who knows whatā€¦..

I also voted no on changing the name of ā€œdeafā€ or ā€œinsaneā€. You can change the name of anything you want it doesnā€™t change what it is you are describing. If I was deaf Iā€™d have a hard time being offended by being called deaf šŸ¤·šŸ¼ if I were being described as ā€œinsaneā€ Iā€™d probably be like ā€œshit I should get that looked atā€
