Nope. They discontinued it without saying anything. I noticed one day and posted up about it and a fair few people went into meltdown mode and bailed. come to think about it that was about the time that almost all posting stopped. most people were just posting to make money and when that turned out to be a bunch of BS there was no reason to post.

I remember that, Wasn't it Like Feb or March ? Seemed like everyone had cabin fever and your observation of the point system started a riot after everyone had been getting rowdy for a while to start with. I hated to watch it self destruct at first but I gotta admit that was kind of exciting to watch and it ended well.

If any of you are members of the facebook group for ice fishing ND, you'll see a page in the same early stages of self-destruction. No asking for pointers, no asking for ice reports, and no discussing which lake you were fishing. You will be scolded or given bullshit advice.

That's not from Admin, that's from the users. They do their best to get rid of the caustic trolls. It'll get better, but it's also growing like crazy. Just surpassed 15K members. That's a lot to handle for a handful of dudes who have day jobs and corral the masses on their free time.

Its just called Ice Fishing North Dakota, and it is a closed group so you do need an account. Looks the like the page admin did put out a post telling everyone to chill out.

That page is garbage. But if you're having a bad day and want to feel better about yourself probably a good place to go....Its like a walmart.

Fishing buddy rocked at one time, then it just self destructed for many reasons. The self destruction could be a business management class on how not to run a business or web site. Thankfully we have Nodak Angler!
