79 thats awesome. Did you call them all in?
12 were called in during daylight hours the rest were shot at night and all were called in with mouth calls at night. Ecallers worked for about a month after that it was a warning to the dogs and nothing worked except mouth calls. All were shot with my CR MOD0 built by Chad Dixon at LongRifles INC. it helps that we were in the same company in the Marine Corps for my first 4 years, we were the only guys from ND in our company so naturally we've been good friends for 25 years.

Are there any local shops in the Bismarck area that deal in suppressors? I prefer to deal local when I can

If SD would get that whole 1 over 20 walleye rule changed, they would definitely be the superior dakota

The f@&$ you say? SD is to the Dakotas what grape soda is to a fine scotch. Each fine in their own right but let's not go comparing the two or trying to put them together.

Yup, 22-250 running 55gr VMAX's loaded down to around 3200fps, my bbl is only 18 inches so I lose velocity anyway but why burn out a barrel in 1500-2000 rounds. I keep a log of every shot fired through my LRI guns so time will tell.

I have shot suppressors on a. 270 win, ar 15, .45, and a .300 rem blackout. Cool stuff but unbalanced and front heavy. Who is a gunsmith who sells balanced suppressed rifles? Bolt action...

Maybe some hope for sensible legislation? (And get my $200 back?)

http://money.cnn.com/2015/10/23/news/companies/gun-silencer-legislation/index.html

I'd love to see this pass. I would however be concerned that .Gov would then attempt to make them mandatory at all times and in all places. For all of their advantages, they still make their host firearm unwieldy/unbalanced when unsupported. That is of course assuming one is adding said can to a firearm they already own. Purpose built projects can of course be balanced out during production.

We'll have to fight that fight when we get to it I guess. I have some firearms, I suppose everyone does, that I don't want to be modified.

Possible but not gonna happen, the gov't giving up a chance to get money from gun owners? All in all it's not a lot of revenue for big brother but they really don't want us to have them.

There is no reason this legislation shouldn't pass. If they were sensible it would be done already without issue and I just realized what I was typing.

The only down side would be the landowner who can't hear poachers/trespassers/sconis shooting where they shouldn't be.
