Camper, just let it be. The wrong approach just makes things worse. Try to get along.
I bet if I was on here putting down Biden, people of color, women, Democrats, Obama, homosexuals, teachers, etc…, I’d be just about everyone one’s friend. That’s real Christian isn’t it? I wonder how many on here ever see the inside of a church. Davy, I appreciate guys on here like you who try to do the right thing. I don’t know what bucks anger issues are about but I feel sorry for him and those he’s able to influence.

My daughter has mentioned, on more than one occasion, the admiration she has for PAPER books.

She has also mentioned, on more than one occasion, she was very happy we shared that with her growing up.

Read to your kids every day. Buy them books and fill their rooms with them. IMO it’s one of the best ways for them to learn AND enjoy it.
We read to our kids every single night. My son is the youngest in his class, and last year he had the highest reading proficiency score in his grade. We definitely believe that reading to your kids makes a difference.

I'm not sure what parents let little kids watch on tv these days but in the 80's Sesame Street and MR Rodgers was all we let our kids watch. It made them want to learn more and It made our teaching so much easier. Both of them knew the ABC's and could count to 100 before kindergarten. When they hit public school they were ready to impress. I tribute almost all of that to what we let them watch on TV.

Wasn’t/isn’t it fun to see Biden start the destruction of our country and trump finish the job. Fuck both of them.
I saw ZERO fun in that. The two party system is nothing more than a tug of war against each others to see who can fill deep pockets VIA corruption. We are in the prime for a 3rd party who really gives a shit about we the people rather than catering to their fortune 500 friends. Both sides do it.

We have not only a 3rd party, but a 4th, 5th ,6th, and so on party. When they become popular enough to be relevant it will get more interesting.

With today's smart phones, I-pads, laptops, & learning pads----kids
don't need to read &/or write cursive, do math, learn spelling, etc.
Hell, why even go to school?
Oh yah, to learn the woke/liberal ways taught there!!
I-pads, laptops, & learning pads or what ever they are called is how homeschool works. plus the cursive and everything else important is written assignments at home. There is no reason to put your kids on a bus to see what others want them to learn

No, that would require effort and thought.

I don't know that the above would have been my answer a mere 10 years ago.
I think most are willing to put effort and thought into it but the hard part for them is accepting and admitting to the fact that they have been proven wrong.

Davy, you don't understand.

This pussy is on this site for NO OTHER REASON then to disrupt it.
It's not just it's political leanings. Hard to fathom you n Vollmers can't see that? Ain't no way it talks n acts like this in real life. Would have got the living shit kicked out of it years ago!
Just another fucking pussy hiding behind a screen!

And no Kurt, I don't ever hit the ignore button because someone will quote it and it shows up anyway.
No it doesn’t just the name

The real problem is there's so much disinformation out there and the major news networks have become so biased you have a hard time believing anything. Getting the actual truth now days is almost impossible.

Off topic but I posted this in the Mule deer discussion and thought I'd Jack this thread with it too.

I believe GF has drop off programs (baby sitting). I wonder if they have a table saw I can check out.

It looks like Minot is the only library that has tools to check out and they have a nice variety. Others have learning tools for people of all ages. State park passes , backpacks and bird hunting kits , wi-fi hotspots and such, also a nice variety. This is an awesome program taxpayer money being spent wisely. I hope word gets out and people use it and request more so it grows. Hopefully Minot is a pilot program and if it is popular they will grow with it. I hope a few people reading this will visit or call your Library with a compliment about the program and hint around if they will be getting a bigger selection ? Iv'e bought a lot of expensive tools in my day that have been used once. Right now it's a pex pipe crimper that I need , It will be the same thing unless I check one out.

What the heck, who wooda thunk.

Does the library have all these tools in their possession so when you want something you just go to the library and get it?
