Don't these dealers have an exit strategy? At what point do you leave the life of crime, change your ID, and go live life?

$24,000,000/10,950(365days per year * 30 years)= $2191.78 per day of spending. That would be $15,342 per week and a measly budget of $61,369.86 per month. He/she could have probably retired on that even with zero earnings on cash and inflation.

I'm thinking many of those trying to exit involves concrete boots. On another note of trying to exit something..love THE FIRM movie. May have to watch again soon in fact.

Uncle Sam or the State/city/county law enforcement that confiscate it will get the money now.

I'm with Rowdie though, I'd have found a way to pull the plug long before I ran out of a need for insulation in the walls.

It would be a hardscrabble life, but I guess I could scrape by on $2K per day.

Man, would I have a lot of custom crankbaits...

The hardest part of being a drug kingpin isn't how to smuggle the drugs, its what to do with millions in cash. A guy can only pay cash for so much stuff before you start raising red flags. Money laundering and tax evasion is what gets most of these guys put behind bars.

Watch the "Cocaine Cowboys" documentary about the Miami drug trade back in the day. Good Stuff!

Yep there in lies the problem you cant realy spend it. Hell you cant even put it in the bank unless you do it in tiny amounts and if you take to much out they flag you then too!
