What is okay for a formal topic

I guess I dont mind the post being moved as much as some peoples negative reactions to it. It was made based upon a joke someone told me yesterday that I thought was humorous. If you disagree with it, thats fine, but I didnt say anything about an individual, on or off this site, and some of the negativity that was directed towards me personally I feel was unnecessary. Also some comments posted by Vollmer seemed very biased against people practicing free speech on this site.

Another thing that I dont like is peoples ability to cut down other members by giving them negative feedback. There are a few thin skinned individuals that will eventually silence some other members by giving them negative feedback. I like the feedback system, but I think it would be more effective to give positive feedback only, so those members who contribute to the site will be recognized, without penalizing them for posting something or anything another person might not agree with.

If you notice, Im currently in the red on the feedback system, despite being relatively active on this site and providing many good, interesting posts, starting a popular group, etc. Something Vollmer was very quick to point out publicly (on the thread being discussed), which makes me think maybe this isnt the place for me after all...

Excessive moderation and kowtowing to advertisers destroyed FBO.... where have you been? It was fine a few years ago, when people were allowed to have discussions and boobs on their avatar pictures!

i don't see where the censorship is?.... i mean you can still talk about it right? V didn't block/ban your accounts for it did he? Did he lock the thread? seems to me he just moved it to the Political forum which is where it belongs.... but as far as censorship i personally see none of it..... and YES there is only one reason that posts like that come up on websites like this..... to stir the pot....

I'm a big fan of walleyecentral, and it nearly ruined them as well.

I will work on building a way for people to customize their activity feed.

BTW I dont have a huge problem with gays or lesbos, although when I see male on male PDA's it does make me cringe a bit. Girl on girl stuff, not so much. :;:thumbsupI do feel that this decision by the SC degraded further, what little remains of americas core values and opens the door to all sorts of absurdity in the future. I know you don't V. you did the right thing. I am being misunderstood, I was calling out the guys that wanted the topic deleted, moved, changed whatever.

When I disagree with some post, I have never felt the need to "flag" the guy, or push for the removal of the post.
Its like when your child has an issue with some other kid, and they run to the teacher and tattle, rather than handle it like an adult. Because of course they are not an adult, they be a child...
