The wife just tried to order a pizza to be delivered from Dominoes, they told us we live out of their delivery range. What a joke that is as I live west of the Vegas Motel. There will never be another Dominoes pizza eaten in this house. As for good steak, the Pioneer in Velva, or Knights in Riverdale are awesome!!

GST, Does Cobb and his gang show up for Antler Outlaw events or are they in hiding ?

It will be interesting to see if he does. this will be the first one since he made his intentions known. The city bought up all the lots that were for sale he was planning on buying to start his PLE.

I had lunch at the China Star in Minot. Oh mylanta is that place complete horseshit from the outside and in. Nasty. And I am not picky at all. Ever been there PS?

Funny you mention that. I have heard that from more than just you. We always get our food orders delivered from there but maybe I need to step in there and re-assess the environment in which our delivery orders are made. It used to be pretty decent inside back in the day but I probably havent stepped foot in there in near a decade. Luckily we havent gotten sick...yet

It's tough to miss with the bistro, peacock, 40, jacks, Robbie's, or the walrus. For out of town, it's littles in pick city, branding iron saloon in selfridge, or the harbor bar in coleharbor.

Harbor bars steaks are hard to beat for how much you get for the price but their sides are usually jacked up. Some of their stuff they tell you what it is and you swear that is was the exact opposite. I had some mashed taters there once that tasted like a burnt turnip had diarrhea.

Littles is also great. Really enjoy their food. I think its called Pro's in Beulah also has some decent food.

I must have gotten lucky at the harbor bar then. My garlic taters were fantastic.

We ate at Paradiso on the main road in Minot July 26th, we were up for the state fair (aerosmith) food was absolute garbage. I love Mexican food. My wife and 2 youngest kids all ordered a different dish, and not one of them was good. Now how do you goof up Mexican food in a Mexican restaurant, I don't know but...yuck

My refried beans I know were from the day before with a fresh can added on top that day, as they were 2 different colors, the chips were stale, the salsa was runny, even the pop tasted bad.

When the waiter came to clear our plates he set them in front of me and scraped all the left over food onto on plate before carrying them off, just about on my lap.

Not sure if Minot is out of quality help, or if we just showed up on the wrong day or what, but fricken terrible.

In my million year existence on this planet, I have found that more often than not, visiting small towns that put on steak fry's are pretty darn hard to beat....both in quality, price, and last but not least, good old fashioned hospitality. Some so called "dive looking" joints are actually places where good times are had by all. I rarely order steak in the franchise operations as you never know what you are going to get. I stick to one of my favorites anyway..a nice hamburger...I know I know..boring...but I enjoy the taste of burger. Either that or I will do some type of pork. Chops or tenderloin that has been smothered in some type of marinade.

me and the wife took the 2 boys to space aliens (Bismarck) the other wknd. and I will never go back. we use to frequent that place often for rib riot wed. back in the college years but holy cow has the service taken a dive as well as the food. it was very bad, over priced and I am not picky at all with eating. probably will never go back.

Paridso in Jamestown is one of my favorites. The Baja steak tacos are awesome and if im not in the mood for Mexican there burger is really good, Great service also. Minot must just suck

Poor service. Seems to be the trend in a lot of different businesses nowadays, whether food, banking, retail, etc. Nobody believes in it or stresses it anymore. And usually its because the company wants to save a buck or two. Sad.

If it's mexican food you're after in Minot then the place to eat is Mi Mexico. I haven't been there in a long time but when I did go it was as authentic as you could get being an hour away from the Canadian border.

One of my favorites is the Pioneer bar in Velva. That's the place I always compare any other steak to and its always the best.

The Minot country club sucks all the way around. Nothing more than a gathering of egos

That new place on north hill in the old quiznos place, is legit.

You know its good mexican when the place is packed and you are the only one ordering in english.
