Boat Last Time Out This Weekend

With pheasant/duck hunting in full swing, how many of you planning to hit the water this weekend for fishing? I don't hunt (sorry), so I'll be heading out with the boat early tomorrow-hope to spend most of the day on the water. Will hit it again Sunday afternoon as well. May be the last weekend out with the boat this season...want to make it count!

I think my last day was a couple weeks ago with Dirty.
Plan on winterizing next week before heading into MT for 5 days.
Going to be nice this weekend though...so who knows maybe get out a couple hours Saturday afternoon.

I plan on going out at least once in the next few days. Not ready to give up on fishing for the year yet. I don't ice fish so I would like to get in all the fishing I can before winter.

Yea...last year think my last trip out was maybe the second week in November. But the wife and I are heading to Seattle on Tuesday for a week, not back till 1 November. Guess I'm assuming the worst weather wise, but who knows. I dread those weeks between last boat trip and first ice...gotta find spots to shore fish at that point!

Seriously though, I need to winterize my boat. Since hunting started I kind of forgot it was there. It's my catch-all for hunting gear this time of year. Right now it's buried under a pile of camo, decoys, waders, etc.

The last few times out on the water...both Sak and Audubon, at the most I saw 2 other boats!
