Ya it’s still dry down here . We have missed a bunch of the big ones. Still no water in blue blanket and running water for the dog in the training pond. They need it up in Canada to potholes are all dry still. Hope winter comes this year need some snow to fill stuff up. May pond count was down again and so was the b pop survey

Apparently my rain gauge tube has a leak but I would say easily north of 2in probably around 3in. Partially judging by the hay that got washed through the culvert where our road meets the highway. Also found that I have a leak to fix in the roof, snow busted part of the sewer vent on one of the heavy snow years when it avalanched off the metal roof. Going to be interesting trying to get at it.

Sounds like a Loader bucket and lassoo kinda job sans a cherry picker.
I think most of my repair is inside but I got to setup a plank system to laydown on the rafters to get at it. Crappy part is with the blown insulation I cant see the rafters and am guessing that the insulation is pretty thick. Going to start there and see what I can find.
Talked to a couple neighbors and one 2mi north got 3.4in rain and the the 2mi south got 3in the other day. not often we see water standing in our sand but there is some now

.90 in the rain gauge this morning. Don’t know how accurate that was because the rain was blowing sideways.

We lost power at 10 last night when a tree blew down a couple houses to the west of us. Just got it back at 9 this morning.

In the first storm that hit, I have never seen lightning like before, neat but scary.
