From what I've seen on Sak, this has been the fastest walleye boat that I've witnessed, came out of Alberta I believe. That little 209 hustles!

And this is the fastest walleye fisherman I've seen on it. Talked to him at the slides, he was spotlocked vertical jigging. We had to ask how damn fast that thing was and he said..its fast. Of course we were Iike how fast?? And he said 104..uffda those Allison's are some fast hulls!

If he’s Cnuk that 104 figure is probably kilometers per hour.

Thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars for MOST ppl to be in debt whilst catching 15-16 inch walleyes MOST of the time?? No thanks! No offense to those of you who can afford it.

There’s a Ranger up around Sak that has a 500 on it. Saw it in July, I think they did Casino to pretty far back in the Hook in about 36-38 minutes. It has to fly. Somebody has to know who it is here?
That 621 is a little moody about speed too. It runs 74 all the time with 3 larger anglers and a super full boat. occasionally, with less weight and colder water it crosses 80.

Buddy just dumped $151,000 on his Vexus with a 400hp and kicker loaded.
They gave him $50,000 for his Ranger, so $100k to boot is not a bad deal for me...haha

He is a poor farmer, I am sure it is a write off somehow too.

I felt pretty bad ass this summer hitting 53.4 mph in the G3...that 200 Yamaha is an awesome motor!
I got 53mph on the gps with pro xs 150 with only me in it - IMO at wot that black sounds like its about ready to blow --- idle speed over 3mph omg you come into the lift or trailer like a runaway train. My etec not one issue in 12yrs-I miss her- quiet and trolled perfect 2- 2.3 and a big if you smelled the exhaust it was 1000x better smelling than that mercs exhaust.

Your idle speed is as much a reflection of HP, prop pitch & blade configuration, and boat hull as it is with anything of the motor or brand..................not unless one motor idles at significantly less rpm than another. You know you can click that little black handle into neutral or you can trim it up which will slow your idle ground speed if you think your coming in too hot.

Sound is all in the ear of the listener. Coming from two big block Opti's, my last two Verado's (I6 & V10) don't have near the bark, even at WOT. Ol' Opti sounded like a race car. Always loved the wine of that super charger on the I6 once she was trimmed out and getting approaching 6400 rpm....V10, it's meehhhhhh all the time.

Etec without a doubt was configured for trolling --- merc is all speed. Sound --- i just figured 4 stroke = with all the talk were smooth and quiet. Louder than my etec and idles rougher imo. I had my last engine raised way up so trimmed perfectly so it seen as little water as the merc does. My buddy with his toon has a normal 150 merc and it acts sounds like a 4 stroke should; then again it sits back their all in its little area who knows.

Chine walk terrifies me. I’m guessing that quantifies moody lol.

I saw the 500 rip in that morning and did the math on the trip from the casino. Pretty impressive.

My Lund had a Merc Pro XS 150, trimmed out, ideal conditions, walk thru window open, 1/4 tank of gas...I hit 49.7 mph in the Impact 1875...I weigh 175 pds...give or take!

The 621 and 622 are both only rated for 400hp. How does insurance, licensing, etc. work when you are over the horsepower rating?

I cant imagine they would like it if something were to happen and it was related to to much power..such as speed. Guessing here but as ling as it wasnt related to that they wouldnt care?

Wonder what flints insurance is going to pay. And how much will he need to pay out of his own pocket now and in future. Speed=overrated
