Hell 65 is fast enough. So it take's two more minutes to get there. My cousin fish's bass tournament's and I have ridden with him foot pedal is what they are rigged with just couple inches of boat in the water balls to walls not for faint of heart. 75 is easy get any kind of waves you better know how to drive. They are knucking futz. Done some crazy shit back in walleye tournament days guess when get older thing's change. Fast walleye boats are dime a dozen now.

Do you want realistic numbers or 1/4 tank of gas, empty boat, shit hole shot, jack plate jacked so high the motor is about to blow numbers?

This new 400 V10 is a performer on that hull from the reports I've gotten. Full fuel on a fully rigged boat with 4 big guys and they were touching almost 70mph in dirty water.

I saw a Warrior 238 with a 450R on the back of it a few times this summer. Anyone know what that rig gets for speed? It's a big ship, but that's a monster of a motor.

To my knowledge and understanding, the 219TFX hull has been the same since 2018. The revamp in 2020 was top-cap, stringer system, and weight placement (batteries and fuel) however it is a bit heavier heavier due to being fully glass with no plastic on the consoles or anywhere. AaronJ could probably confirm if that's correct.
I would like to see AaronJ response on If the hull recieved a little tweaking.....also did the 209 or what is now the 210x have some tweaking as well?

What was the jack plate set at...and the prop being run? Not saying it isn't possible but usually there is some give and take..I think alot of guys can remember the ranger 620 with the etec on the back of it and the numbers it produced...not realistic but impressive for what I would consider a slower hulled boat.

I have personally(been in) seen triton with 350 and 400 on them run middle to upper 60's(65 350 and 67/68 400hp) 216 fishunter with Jackplate. The triton 206 with 300 61-62 with jack plate. Yar craft 209tfx jack plate 64...300..Can't remember props on these. Ranger 620fs 300 jack plate 59mph loaded with full fuel on all of these and gear. Nitro zv21 350hp 59mph jack plate. Caymas dv20 with 300 as dirty said 62mph with jack plate. Skeeter wx2200 with 300 58mph jack plate. Ranger 618t with merc 90 37mph. Probably missing a few...if I happen to think of them I will post. These are all personal experiences of boats I have been in. Again don't remember all the props. These are all speeds loaded with fuel 2 guys and fishing gear most of us would probably have in our boats.

I had a Carolina skiff with a 60hp that I hit 41 mph. I took a shit before hand though. Only 12 beers in the boat with 2 rods and 1 tackle box

I believe in full gear and fuel with normal fisherman. This summer it seemed a lot of boats were running faster than in the past, I didn't really see too many 70+ mph loaded speeds, seemed that even between almost identical boats there were wide differences

Absolutely there can be big differences..fuel amount..gear...live well amount...passengers...jack plate or not...props etc. I know there are 70mph boats out there but the ones I have seen have been low fuel.. one or 2 guys..no gear etc. Basically trying to get absolute top speed so they can say there boat hit certain speed..The ones that I have seen get to the 70 mph were triton and yar craft. Put loads in either one and as with any boat the speed starts to drop drastically. Never been in caymas dv22 or Vexus though. The numbers I listed on previous posts were full fuel and loaded with gear 2 guys...and speeds that were consistent..meaning any day the numbers would have been hit.

Remember more
Triton 189 with 175..Can't remember it had jack plate..don't think so. 59mph(want to talk about chine walk..holy)
Yar craft 2095bt with merc175 52
Crestline I believe it was 202? With 250 58mph.

If I recall correctly the hull on the 219 and 209 were tweaked different years. They put a small step on the back of the hull to decrease chine walk and to stabilize the overall ride quality. I cant recall for sure but I believe my 2014 209/300 was pre-tweak and hit about 66 mph 2 guys fully loaded but had some chine walk. My 2017 219/350 did have the hull step and also was a 66.6 mph boat fully loaded. I cant recall my 2019 209 speeds; but it did have the hull change and was as stable at 35 as it was at WOT.

My speeds quoted are generally numbers with my boat loaded for how I fish. Me and a +1 (size between 180 and 250), more rods than are ever necessary (est. 25-30), about 30 plano boxes with cranks and jigs, and more plastics than most people use in 2 seasons.

Next years boat will be set up for alot of FFS use and top end speed on the nicer days (I do NOT like to abuse my back or my equipment). Heck, I rarely run WOT unless on a tourney day or have an emergent dump to take.

Any speed that I quote are for loaded tourney loads, 2 guys, full fuel and gear. The new V10 is a torque monster and between that and the new lower unit they swing some big pitch props (I don't recall what pitch however) compared to what we've been used to running on the I6 Verados. The numbers I mentioned above with the New V10 were on a dealer spec'd boats (not proped for top speed, propped for overall performance). I fully expect a 2-man tourney load to run over 70 mph on my new one. I'm a boat performance junky and have spent more money than I care to talk about to get my boats dialed in to perform as good as they can. We all have our vice's. TBH, if this one runs the way I've been told and seen from a few videos, I have probably hit my limit for chasing speed in a walleye boat.

My current 2018 219 350 combo is a 63-66 mph boat. I have seen 67 mph and change but that was on an unloaded boat. On any given tournament start, it'll run 64-65 mph. Humid air, its down between 63-64 mph. Running a 22.5 Pitch Bravo FS that's been worked by Croxton. very few people can pass me out of the gate, it's not setup for every last mph.

Previous 186FSX with a 200 opti would spin a worked DAH Tempest plus and push that boat 58-60 mph. it was one of the fastest 18.5 ft boats I've seen or been around.

had a 2011 Skeeter WX1900 w/ a 200 hpdi. could never get that one to run, was a 50 mph boat no matter what I did.

.........and if I go way back, had a 2000 Yarcraft Storm SC powered by a 2006 225 Opti. That one was ran decent also, pretty much the same 58-60 mph speeds I got out of the 186. That one was running a worked Tempest also. Previous owner of that boat said 61 mph but he was another 1000' lower in elevation.

Last year was 2 boats in casinos and big 10 that ran those speeds a v 10 vexus and over powered 621

the big money bass tourneys -- Elite and Major League limit the hp to 250 about 75mph or so on a 21footer. Walleye tourneys are the wild wild west ---they are still put lead down the throats and use dog kennnels -- 600hp is not unreasonable. Hell you gotta be the first one to the kennel.

On a serious note --- wasnt it corey sprengal that did the down and back on sakakwea with 1 tank of gas. He limited his motor to a 225 or 250 and did the gas mileage. He didnt have to wait in line at the gas pump that was enroute.

Absolutely nothing worse than being the second one to the kennel!

At current speeds at takes 23-25 minutes to get from casino to shell in nice conditions. Only real advantage to running fast is you get to run in clean water and not fight dozens of wakes, only gains you a handful of minutes
