That stuff is kind of scary. I read earlier this year that Facebook was working on artificial intelligence. They ended up shutting it down because the stuff they were working on starting writing it's own codes that the programmers couldn't even understand.

That was proven to be a story which was exaggerated by the media to gain more click bait. There was some truth in the Facebook chatbots talking to each other for hours in a language that they could only understand. The chatbots were eventually reprogrammed to only work within a strict set of rules when pertaining to the English language.
The chatbots have been used in detection of facebook posts that may indicate a user that may want to hurt themselves.
It's what I would call BIG BROTHER is watching you and we have proof
