Does anybody still read this rag anymore? I have refused to read it since the DAPL protests but a coworker of mine said I needed to read a paragraph out of their coverage of the George Floyd protests. A protestor (Katie Winbauer - that name sure sounds familiar) said that a big pickup pulled up and aimed a gun at the protestors for over a minute and of course it had two big flags one that said Trump 2020 and another was a confederate (how convenient) - apparently Katie did not think that was reason to call the police but instead called the Bismarck Tribune who was all too happy to publish this information with 0 proof other than the word of such a respectable individual like Katie Winbauer. I mean it’s not like a simple google search of Katies twitter feed or any other information she has out there would show she is one of the more vile and radical liberal lunatics who seems to enjoy agitating the majority of North Dakotans. Anyways, this seems like completely irresponsible journalism to publish such a claim with no proof. Simply a smear job. Katie Winbauer is either a complete total pile of garbage because she lied about something so serious for political gain (most likely) or because someone was threatening to commit mass murder and she didn’t call the police. Take your pick.

Never happened if someone didn't at least get a picture in this day and age. Wife got guilted into a subscription few years ago. Had her cancel it within a week.

Haven't had a subscription in YEARS... Don't need them telling me what life should be like in their eyes. Hell, I don't even know what life should be like in the eyes God hath provided me! lol But then, I have a number of things I have on the Do Not list: Tribune, Prairie Knights Casino, Target, Dicks Sporting Goods, Scheels credit card (bank), Nike shoes & apparel, etc.

Fargo forum isn't any better either. To be honest, I read/skim through bits and pieces from them all. There are two sides on every coin and I need to hear and see both sides before I can come to an honest conclusion . It's up to the reader to pick and choose what to believe and we all have the option of Viewer discretion advised if it's not suitable for us. I don't agree with what they have to say most of the time but it's their opinion and freedom of speech just like we have ours.

Bismarck Tribune has a five-story limit that you can open and read (online) per month. They then block any other stories unless you open up a subscription. Pretty STUPID! I just switch from the laptop to the iPad or iPhone. When that runs out I still have another five available. However, I never have to worry because there's nothing to read by the time the first five articles are reached!! lol

They don't write any investigative stories. EVERYTHING they published is either local stuff or copy/pasted from the Associated Press news wire. They want that much money on a subscription for someone to copy/paste?
