I am somewhat hesitant to post as I am NOT wanting/fishing for anything from y'all.
My current backlog is out over a year. LOL
But perhaps it will give someone else an inspiration to try something new.

One of my hobbies is acrylic painting. I have been painting for roughly 4 years.
Here is a photo of some of my paintings. I can NOT sketch/draw with a darn.
I have a hard time drawing a stick man. My sister is an accomplished watercolor artist.
I have always admired her work and after having her paint my friend's dog, I thought I would give it a whirl.
I decided on using acrylic paints for the ease of clean up and not using solvents for example in oil painting.

I wish I had started earlier in my life . . .
Sometimes it is fun. Sometimes it is frustrating.
I especially enjoy doing free paintings for my friends.

I have been trying to paint realistically. However, I hope to soon transition to more of an impressionistic style and get more into landscapes.

Have you considered painting some dogs shooting pool? I know it sounds silly but I bet there would be a huge market for something like that.

Sluggo would know - his better half is a serious TALENT with the paint brush.

Imagine having owned 5 or 6 great dogs... and having a painting with them all playing pool.

Very impressive that you are able to paint people, wildlife, scenery, etc. all with great skill. Often an excellent wildlife artist has trouble with people but those holding the fish are pretty cool. Nice work.
