Very impressive that you are able to paint people, wildlife, scenery, etc. all with great skill. Often an excellent wildlife artist has trouble with people but those holding the fish are pretty cool. Nice work.

If you ever run out of things to paint, paint me one of Bigfoot with a real looking face. Have seen some done and the face looks stupid.

I am somewhat hesitant to post as I am NOT wanting/fishing for anything from y'all.
My current backlog is out over a year. LOL
But perhaps it will give someone else an inspiration to try something new.

One of my hobbies is acrylic painting. I have been painting for roughly 4 years.
Here is a photo of some of my paintings. I can NOT sketch/draw with a darn.
I have a hard time drawing a stick man. My sister is an accomplished watercolor artist.
I have always admired her work and after having her paint my friend's dog, I thought I would give it a whirl.
I decided on using acrylic paints for the ease of clean up and not using solvents for example in oil painting.

I wish I had started earlier in my life . . .
Sometimes it is fun. Sometimes it is frustrating.
I especially enjoy doing free paintings for my friends.

I have been trying to paint realistically. However, I hope to soon transition to more of an impressionistic style and get more into landscapes.

Happy Paintings!
they look awesome!

Here are a few more done recently.

The two Border Collies are mine. The paintings are perfect for those 2 girls. They hang in our dining room so we will always remember them. As if I need a reminder. Maddog's talent is just so good!! If you want a beautiful lasting memory of someone special, have him do it!!

Thanks for the compliments. They are greatly appreciated.
I thoroughly enjoy painting and the challenges it presents.
There always is another painting(s) that I want to do. : )
Especially if it is for a friend who appreciates art.

Those have great depth, texture and light.

My best over winter hobby is producing black women simulations from dress socks.
