Don't know. Never really cared. I only go as fast as my eyes can see the water, which is about 33 mph. I missed a floating picnic table on DL by an inch or two, a floating telephone pole on Sak by about the same distance, and to many tree trunks to count because I saw them with enough time to avoid them. I'll sacrifice the 5 minutes to get to my spot with the boat and myself in one piece.

16.5 foot Crestliner with a 115 Mercury Optimax and standard aluminum prop. Used to go 46, but last few years 45 is about the best I can do.

Only tried to top end it once. I had 5 kids in the boat with me and one of them asked me "how fast does this tub go anyway" Got 58mph on the way back to the dock. I'm with KDM on this one and don't like going any faster than I can see with potential hazards in DL.

2000 Sylvan Adventurer 1700, 125 Merc 2+2, Merc 9.9 will get up to 43 mph consistently with 1 person, full fuel and gear.

Awaiting my new boat to arrive. Not sure what she will do.

2015 Crestliner Sportfish 2150 SST with 300 Verado and 15 bigfoot. Guessing 60-63. Ordered @ the St Paul boat show and waiting for dealership to take possession! The wait is rough!

38 mph with a 180 viper, 140 Johnson, 8hp kicker, 3 batteries, 2 guys, live well full of fish and full gear. Usually tool around at 30 or 32 mph which saves big time on ware of engine and gas consumption.

44 mph with a full tank fuel and three people, 150 etec, --- have had up to 8 adults (overloaded) did 41 ---- I am not into speed to old -- like to cruise, I just have one question about that 73mph'er at the end of the day did he catch fish at that tourney --- or did he just swing his d$%k racing all day.

Sawyer,
1880 with a 150 Yamaha, around 47-48. I try not to run WOT very often though. Usually when I'm running, I go between 38-43. Plenty fast.

KDM and Colonal Angus speak words of wisdom , I pulled a HUGE tree off the middle of main Bay last summer , It was waterlogged and almost invisible out there. It was so heavy that I had to idle slow or it would snap my rope like it was twine. It would have done a lot of damage no matter how you hit it.

Best top speed on the 621 was 64.6 on the GPS with just me and not a lot of fuel. 2 guys full of fuel 59-61. 1700 angler hits around 33-34 mph.
