I am actually ok with it. Riding a bike or a horse drunk is not the same as "driving " a motor vehicle drunk. So, they shouldn't be treated the same under the law. This was long overdue. To think you could go to jail for a year and lose your license or cdl for riding a bike around at .08% is absurd to me.

I think it would be a hoot watching somebody with a full load on try to ride a bicycle anywhere. Don't think they would get far. Now riding a horse might be different if they don't fall off.

That falls under the tittle of who gives a shit! At least it's the drunk driver getting killed and not some 17 year old driver. There is ZERO question this law is better then treating them the same as driving 3,000 pounds of rolling steel.

Ever watch someone bicycle drunk? I have, back when the boom was in high swing here, I had a couple of guys staying in a camper in my back yard. Well, one day the car they had took a shit or something, one gentleman was already a drunk to begin with. They got a bike in the spring and used that to get around town, well, one day he was coming down the street towards my house, he comes to try and turn into the driveway....he rides right into my mailbox on the side of the road....you could see how unsteady he was trying to ride that thing....I sat there SMH....:;:huh
