If a card-carrying, Republican Party nominated and elected politician votes on something the way you don't like, maybe it's not them who is not living up to the Republican Party ideals.

It's pretty difficult to expect anyone to hold the exact same voting principles of our own.

Just saying...
It's not one vote..it's many votes. Go look how much he has added to the deficit...he is no Republican..if anything 90's democrat. Again my opinion and I base it off his votes..and not just the recent ones. Go back to day one and read through them and then report back and try and convince me.

Here is one..tax money well spent

Public Law No: 116-156 (08/14/2020)
Commission on the Social Status of Black Men and Boys Act

This bill establishes the Commission on the Social Status of Black Men and Boys within the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights Office of the Staff Director to conduct a systematic study of the conditions affecting Black men and boys.

He will vote for that but not stop politicians from trading stock...

Way to twist shit. I would be, and have in the past signed up for, fighting dictatorial presences in this world that you are describing. I sure as hell ain't going to ever support the U.S. turning into what you describe. And yet, here you are defending the idea of doing exactly that. Revenge politics, arresting and imprisoning people at the request of politicians. SMDH...
These are the people you are siding with while claiming you are against them.

I am not siding with ANYONE. I don't know if I can be any clearer, but here goes.

I do not support any Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Communist, Socialist, or whatever political affiliation that chooses to weaponize the civil servants in the executive branch to further their political agenda, or target their political opponents with unwarranted prosecution.

Amen - it will probably not happen in our life times, but I would love to one day see a true "independent" candidate gain a national following who runs on a platform based on transparency, objectivity, and who actually defends and advocates for the constitution and constituents. Now that would be a sight to see...IMHO.

If that’s the case why are you against trump firing and potentially prosecuting those that used their office for political purposes and targeting their opponents which the left has boing doing it for years. You call it revenge when it is justice for abusing the powers of their office and the bias runs very deep in these departments By your stance of being against it justice you are complicit and part of the problem for turning a blind eye

aren’t these your words below
explain how being held accountable for your actions is revenge

Is it revenge by removing those who weaponized the Justice system against him and the citizens who supported him ? Sieg Heil ??? do you even know history ? The Biden admin and the left are using the justice department against their political opponents just like Hitler did.

Yep, and calling for a "tit-for-tat" revenge administration is no better.

There is only one party in the American political system and that party is the uniparty. Both sides are getting campaign funds from the same lobbyists in Washington. And let's keep it real if you support proxy wars and clot shot mandates you are part of the uniparty period, you may try to claim otherwise but past thread discussions would tell a different story.

You want transparency regardless of which party, let's have candidates wear jackets with patches of every single big lobbyists groups names on them. That will tell you all you need to know who is talking out of both sides of their mouth is how they got elected in the first place.

A word to you "independents" Trump is the 3rd party candidate if you haven't been paying attention. Being awake is a dangerous proposition. Not meant for the weak haerted.
Yeah but the uniparty "independent fence riders" won't except trump because of his mean tweets and his past business and personal alleged life experiences. And let's make this very clear even if trump is convicted of state or federal before November. That does not mean he can't win as president only an act of congress can keep his name off the ballot in November, trump tried to go after Biden because of the hunter laptop information but the fbi and cia would not start an investigation. Same as the wire tapping of trump towers done by the Biden/obozo administration which was based on information that was either incorrect or an outright lie on a fisa warrant. History just doesn't go away and crimes were committed against a sitting president and nothing was done about it. That's not revenge justice that's just plain justice based on federal laws that have been broken, but the fence riders know this and still try to claim they are independent but i call it what it is hypocrites of the lowest form even though they are sitting on their high horse morals.

Independents too me are luke warm and as Christ said I will spew them from my mouth... and I'm not the judge but He..
Absolutely agree 👍 Independent are the ones who are the biggest hypocrites outright since they justify talking out of both side of their lying pie holes. North Dakota I believe has one of the last npl democratic parties, but you see how that went when the last remaining candidates sold out the conservatives of this state by voting for a bill that killed the American dream. The affordable care act is the biggest money stealing from the middle class and giving it to the poor in the history of mankind. The npl democrats of North Dakota are dead in Washington, the only way they can get there now is claiming to be a rino Republican.

I hope for the day I can hold my head under the sand and not recognize what's going on... I'm up for a discussion..

Interesting grumster...personally I envision Jesus more as an independent as opposed to being on the right or left. Jesus was highly critical of the religious leaders and Jewish high council who placed a heavy burden on the Jewish citizens who desperately needed spiritual love and light. This eventually cost him his life. Jesus stood up for the depressed, downtrodden, lost, sick, enslaved, and broken. He came to serve...not be served. He embraced and taught humility as a trait that is highly regarded by the Father. The reference from scripture you mention above...being hot or cold...versus lukewarm is from Chapter 3 in the Book of Revelation. The Lord's message for the church in Laodicea...the believers in that church felt they already had all they needed. The reference to being "hot" or "cold" refers to water that when hot soothes the body, provides relief as in the hot springs - cold water provides refreshing life giving sustenance needed to survive. Lukewarm water provides neither and is useless as referenced in this passage. These political discussions are I suppose inevitable during these election seasons, but truly...we know who we should place our faith and trust in...the Christ...he who lived humility and who loved. All of us, including any candidates we are considering, should first be compared to the Lord and what he taught...then go from there. Just my take...we all fall woefully short.

I'm not seeing the conflict in our views.. as I've stated Mr. Trump is the 3rd party (the independent) in this race, do I see him as a some sort of messiah? nope I don't ,I have only One savior.

Meh Jesus Christ is not a political figure, I laugh and mock at those who try to put Jesus into a some sort of category that fits their hidden agenda. Being a decent human being has no political affiliation, Jesus was and will always be the reason why our forefathers created our countries laws based on the laws of the almighty father. God's law is not political law but political law is God's law. Since God's law is the highest law of a Christian society which the United States is.
@ndfinfan stick to using Robin hood as your example of an independent fence rider
