That reverse override button is kind of a pita, yeah its a safety thing that some engineer decided that people of low iq might end up running over the neighbors kid. Don't even get me started on the seat safety switch, its a miracle our country didn't go down in flames from all the not needed government pacifiers that today's world seems to need.

Those are the first things to get disconnected. ;)

Also I normally engage the mower at half throttle or so and then bring it up to full throttle once it's engaged. Seems to me it would be harder on the clutch and drive train to engage at full throttle. This is for a larger tractor anyway, maybe a smaller mower would need to be at full throttle to not kill the engine.
