OK....well I'm still having a problem reconciling how smoking "CBD" has health benefits and getting a calming rush from a cigarette is evil. This whole damn world is fucked.
Yeah you shouldn’t be smoking it if you are truly using it as medication or for health. What other legal drug do people smoke?

Some people prioritize their mental health over their physical health I suppose, or maybe they just enjoy smoking/vaping something. Its a legal substance, so you dont need a good reason for using it really... Kinda like sugary carbonated drinks.

Why do people always assume it has to be smoked ? There are a lot of people who have never smoked in thier life who have been using it for years, they infuse it in oils and/or butter and eat it.

Most people around these parts don't know shit about naturopathy so they shun everything about it, including cannabis. My wife and I didn't either untill we got out of state to an ND,MD. It's quite the combo and takes a minimum of 8 years of college plus I'm sure some internships so they are almost non existent but they are out there. That's what it took to get my wife off pain meds that were turning her into a zombie.
No offense to those who solely practice modern medicine but there is a mix they will never learn in MD college and quite often it's a bigger piece of the puzzle than all the pills put together.
One thing you'll find out if you ever visit a ND,MD , they are not hostile to medical internet searches like the typical MD, that's the reason you found them in the first place and they will tell you there is a wealth of information out there.

If I want to piss off my DR. , (and I do once in a while), all I have to do is mention something I read on the internet that raises a question and his face gets red. One time my wife got her ass chewed by a Dr. here in ND for taking a supplement or herb that was recommended by a ND,MD. It saved my wife from embarrassment that I wasn't there, I'm no doctor but I know brainwashing when I see it and it's prevalent in the medical industry and I'm not afraid to pipe up and hold my grounds.

North Dakota will be the 53rd state to legalize MJ, to many people hiding in their basements boozing it up

It needs level headed sponsors. David Owens was that, and was doing a good job untill that other group who was also trying to legalize, turned on him because they said his measure wasn't written good enough.

I watched their Facebook page and when they said Owens measure wasn't good enough I suggested taking baby steps , getting it legal was the biggest hurdle and the main goal. It was no use , the whole group lobbied against Owens measure like a cult and told everybody to vote no.

One of the members of that group was the damn fool who wore some sort of cape with a huge marijuana leaf on it when he gave his testimony. It was a disgrace , his presence even turned me off . I am almost positive it would have passed if not for the apposing group . I gave them a good peace of my mind on their fakebook page and never looked at the page again.

WARNING: Dr Drew is a brainwasher:

I need to see the science behind the data before I take it at face value. It raises my eyebrows that he claims 1 in 4 MJ users experience a severe mental illness up to and including psychosis. I've known a LOT of people who use(d) MJ and not one has had a severe mental illness attributable to MJ.

He cites JAMA as a reference, which is all good and well, but that doesn't make them authoritative or unflawed studies. If you've searched the JAMA website you know that you can find a study to promote your rhetoric. Here's one published by JAMA that shows no correlation to psychosis in states with and without medicinal or recreational MJ:

Furthermore, it seems "Dr." Drew is in bed with big pharma. I'd expect more sleuthing from you SVN. He has plenty of rea$on$ to put out a scare tactic video leveraging his "authority" to line his own pockets. Probably paid to put this out and scare the world.
Smacks of Covid-era tactics. He's no better that Fauchi. It would seem he IS a brainwasher afterall.

Lastly, take it for what it's worth. If you care enough to look at data points from the other side, check out Weed the People. I'm sure it's skewed too, but compelling arguments are made.

That is totally dependent on your perspective of what normal is. One has to be careful how long your exposed to some people. I worked with two different groups of people at the same time for 34 years. One group was sane.
