Looks like paying Randy Newberg worked out well for the State of Montana.

It starts slow but gets pretty good. Be sure to make at least 1, probably 2 bags of popcorn before you start reading it though.

I would guess you got one of the combo tags turned back in by someone else that didn't draw their special permits.

I called MT Game and they apparently rewrote their internal programming and to quote her "It's been working a little funky." Nodakbowhunter is correct, the system did an automatic redraw and I was lucky enough to get a combo tag turned in by an unsuccessful special permit draw person that didn't want a general combo tag without their special draw permit. She said the system was NOT supposed to do that, but it did. Next year might be totally different which is what she said, but for now I have a 2017 Montana Big Game Combo Tag. Sweet!!

Now that's messed up. I hope they straighten things out. I wonder if they actually threw out the apps without the bow and arrow tags like they said they were going to as well. Seems like everything else was screwed up...

When people are sending them $900-$1000 of their money, they need to have a solid process.

Anyone else find it odd that they ask your occupation on the app?
