im just stating my opinion on letting other peoples actions are having on us. Would we be having this conversation of a fan at an NDSU football game who didn't stand for the anthem? or at any local sporting event around the country? no... I am in no way saying he is right for not standing during the anthem, I completely agree with you, im saying is why put him on the pedestal? who is he to us? hes nobody! Lets treat him like that by not "making awareness" which is what he wants........I say shun him!!

Yes indeed, damn straight we would be discussing this NO matter where it was, what was going on or who was doing it. It seems you have a hard time understanding that some of us will stand up for what we believe in. As I said earlier I would be happy to assist anyone anywhere to his or her feet if they need assistance standing for the National Anthem or the Flag passing in a parade

I have long given up on the NFL, Can't respect anyone who makes multimillions of dollars to stand around on the field for 3 hours and get a 10 minute break between every other play.
Then the NFL supporting all the political rhetoric of banning guns and then going along with homeland security and going through a more intense security screening to get into a game than on an airplane and the list goes on and on.

No NFL for this guy for several years already, which isn't hard as I am not a big sports guy anyhow unless its powerboat racing.

Grampa, dad, uncles, myself and several friends served our flag, some had it drapped over at the end. So when I see a pos not stand for it I'm seeing red. I don't give a f who the hell you are. That flag is why that pos is doing what he does and earns what he earns. If you want to show your protest for something you damn well better do it against something other than our flag

I disagree......slightly. I think they should make it public and cut him. Show that their team honors our Flag and for which it stands and for all the vets that have protected our freedoms. Sweeping it behind close doors doesn't help. IMHO

I wouldn't hold my breath that anything from SanFran would lead towards patriotism or conservative. IMHO
