Based on last weekend, my call is for 8 fish @ 38# to win this. As much as I hate to say it, rigging on the right break line will be the ticket. However, these guys are so damn good someone will find a pod of fish that goes 10 fish for 51#.

East end.

Ft Stevenson AIM was won near the ramp last June. There were a few other finishers in the top 10 that were near in sight of the ramp. That one, you do not need a big fast boat. Pretty good fishing within a mile of start

Totally different bite than in June. I will shake that man's hand who pulls winning bag from East End.

I was referring to the guy that mentiond the AIM on the Big lake which happens in June. A giant fast boat is not needed

If I know anything about fishing is you can always pull a rabbit out of a hat when nobody's looking there Timmy. A man stuck in his way of thought always is a man that will lose.

It's not impossible on East End. But you nailed it. Rabbit in hat. Garrison Bay is famous for it. Zero fish for hours and then bam, a flury of nice fish and over. It's doable. Definitely.

And looks like a lot men stuck in their way as the rules meeting was dominated by gasoline talk. I know a few grinding it on East End. So maybe they can get errr done. The Pacific storm is looking to mess with winds now. Friday is creeping to danger zone. That brings the local, local back into play a bit if does make West difficult.

I hear ya. It's not always needed. But I have fished enough tournies now. To use AIM as an example the Casino tourney last year (the double scale debacle) had the best fishing I will ever see in my life. Pretty convinced of that. It was that crazy. Queue the following week there was still fish to be had but the right fish disappeared. He who ran 30-40 miles whooped it up on Van Hook Arm. I also ran as was forced to. I lost lots of fishing time. It reduced my ability to run and gun when spots died.

As much as I hate to say it in the tournies with large boundaries and bites differing so greatly on the lake horsepower does make a difference unfortunately. All the time? No. But when it's on the line, even the Pros put the throttle down to run to the easier fishing. All of them? No. but most. Looks like it.

gasoline talk?

Yes, who has gas, how many gallons each place has. What happens if run out of gas.

Then on street it was dominated by gas by hour. Miles per gallon. Yada yada. Maybe they are all good at decoying. Ha.

They are saying there are two places to get fuel one has 1000 gal and the other has 2000 gal

First flight will get fuel
most of second flight will get fuel
and the rest are gonna send thier co anglers back with thier fish and hope to get fueled IF one of thier team mates gets fueled.....

Crazy strategy

Can they use extras fuel cells?

No extra fuel jugs from my understanding.

I seen a fuel tank in Okada's boat on Erie on a NWT

I'm bored so I looked up the rules.

Fuel may be carried only in factory-installed (built-in) fuel tanks. Optional remote engine fueltanks must be factory- or factory-authorized-dealer installed and be strapped or otherwisesecured. Any additional fuel used during the tournament day must be purchased from a retailfacility open to the public and pumped through a hose with a nozzle.
