When i was a lad i took my dad's 22 pistol and did the quick draw. First shot miss my toe by about 6 inches. Had a daisy pistol BB that i spent hours doing this, i did get somewhat better at it plus safer.
Now i have a couple of Model P Cimarrons that i try on. Much slower and at 25 yards the other guy is safe. But it can be fun. db

Back many years when our town had a garbage dump I used to strap on my Ruger Single Six 22 and go out there right about sundown and the rats would be on the feed. Would walk around and jump on wood piles and quick draw shoot them as they ran out. Got quite good at it and it was a hoot to do cause the rats never shot back. Now I have a Glock 19 in 9mm and a Walther 22 that is the same size and even combat trigger, I practice with the 22 a lot, saves $$$$ and its fun. It goes in the Golf cart in the morning for unwanted critters around the yard. If you use the segmented 22 shells they can get real nasty. I keep different clips loaded with cheap and not so cheap shells just for fun. LB.

Those look 'SWEET'. When at the range it was just two of us old coots. Then other guy was shooting a Glock 19 gen4. I commented that they are at gen5 now. He said he had one and went back to gen4 because of the finger contours on the grip that the 4 had. He liked that feature better.
