I haven't snared for many years, just wondering what everyone is using these days? Manufacture, cams, length? I like the idea of the kill snares. Back in the day when I snared, there wasn't any mention of this kind of snare. I had to rely on kill stakes to help with chewouts. Was thinking about starting again, so look forward to hearing what everyone else is using.

I don't snare but know a few who do and I hear them talk about rules and regulations as well as what is legal, etc. Since you have snared in the past I would first suggest reading the new G&F regs and that will give you some idea of where to start and what you can use.

The people who I know that snare are very careful about setting them as in most cases the animal is dead and you don't want to snare an animal that is not your intended target. Good luck and catch a bunch of coyotes.
