I was out drinking, I mean fishing, last Friday morn with Ishmael's boss. After we cleaned fish my father in law and wife came and picked me up at the dock because they were out too. Well I stepped in the boat and his rod tip was in the closed live well in front. When I stepped I heard a crunch.

Also that same morning I crushed a few cans. Luckily they were empty tho.

Broke one gloomis rod this year pitching jigs and one cheap rod in the car door. Backing up the boat last weekend I dropped the trailer wheels in a rut I didn't see and put the motor into the ground. That broke at the piviot shaft just got fixed tonight. The wife hit 2 deer in a 3 week period back in june. Got her car back from the first one on a Sunday and I get a call at 430 the next morning that she hit another one.

I love how I can slam the $20 Shakespeare rods in doors, step on them, land oversized spring northerns, and I even uprooted a tree with one. But that damn scheels rod breaks the tips just by simply spooling wire, or looking at the damn thing the wrong way. I finally just took the store credit after the third one broke. I'm pretty sure a dry 6 foot cotton wood branch would out last a crappy scheels rod.

I also backed the trailer into the dock and busted a led taillight that I installed 3 weeks earlier. Hit a stump and thought for sure I had a hole and missing lower unit, boat went from 35mph to 5 and every thing in back of the boat not nailed down was in the front of the boat. But all it did was leave a scratch down the center of the haul, no dents, and the aluminum prop miraculously escaped injury.

Broke a Fenwick Eagle GT yesterday; forgot it in the bow mount rod holder when I backed into the garage. Heard a little something, jumped out and got there just in time to see the 'snap', as it was lodge between the boat floor and the garage door.

Let's see here... big one first... found out the boat trailer does not fit through Hardee's drive through about 2" too wide... $600... 2 reels went up in flames $100 ea... 2 rods $120ea... lost a digital scale in the lake... buddy tried to take the fuel cap off the boat with the dock... ripped the emergency brake cable out of the trailer (late and raining and forgot to unhook it after dropping the boat in the shop)... I think that's about it for fishing

I was fishing in some big waves on Ft. Peck over the 4th and turned my minn kota to the right and it got ripped right off the front of the boat. I was able to grab it before it went all the way overboard and my son was able to get the big motor started before we hit the rocks. Turns out the dealer used those expanding rubber mounts and they just pulled through the holes. I put some rubber bushings and some big fender washers and mounted it solid. I don't think it will be falling off again.
