4th OF JULY PLANS!!!

ok, this weekend is gonna suck for most of us weather wise, so lets look ahead...

so far so good on the weather outlook at devils, where we will head to next friday... plan to camp, fish, tube, eat, drink, appreciate, and remember good times of the past, and why we get to enjoy this awesome holiday...

summers almost 1/2 over folks... have you made your share of memories yet this year??? time to get on it!!! i hope you all can make some memories you will never forget!!!

4 days at Mckenzie bay sakakawea. About 10 families that spend the last several years of independence days together.
In Rapid city right now, spent today at the cosmos, Rushmore, and finished up at wind cave national park. Bear country and reptile gardens tomorrow, then fast pitch softball tournament for the weekend.

Just starting the campfire now, and cracked an ice cold Busch light

pray one of the four days I have off the wind stays below 20 mph. Otherwise camp on the east end of Sakakawea, and fireworks.

What fireworks with the wife, figure out what to do with the dog, get to sak to fish, and not do any manual labor.

Plan right now is to leave Thur head up to Devils - stay until the following Tues. If the bite is hitting on the east end of SAK - were planning on doing a road day trip just for the hell of it and put in at centennial.

Wind - who knows the jet makes a big ridge out west -- I am betting the wind wont blow all week and then pick up for the weekend just not as $hitty as this weekend.

Fishing and Fireworks at Douglas bay. Seems just a few weeks ago was the last 4th.. Remember it was smoky from all the western fires and the fish snapping. That was fun.
