A sweet tank top, cooler of ice cold Busch lights, and some SPF30 is all that is needed you fancy fuckers. Pants are for winter fishing too.

Uhh, sure. And here's a pic of Juan on his non-fancy motorscooter.

I'm wondering which of these long sleeve bitches has the thumb loop at the end of the sleeve to keep the end of the sleeve covering the backs of your hands so I can keep from wearing gloves too (from a skin cancer survivor).

I like the huk shirts. They are nice and cool and keep the evil sun from killing me. I don’t like sunscreen so the long sleeves are great.

I started with a crew neck Simms, but have switched to the hooded version. They are super nice and definitely keep you cooler than even going shirtless. Also keeps the bugs off on those hot calm days on Sak.

keeping the sun off you w/out having to slather sun screen is such a luxury

the hooded SIMMS is my goto - I am going to install some sort of snap under the chin to tighten the hood for windy days or being underway

- - - Updated - - -

and yes - dead calm w bugs is almost a non-issue w the hood

Bug spray works, and you can enjoy the sun on your face.
cover yourself in 30, and a can of Off, and live man.

Whichever shirt doesn't mind ending up in the corner of the boat so I can get my belly two shades darker than snow.

I always say "to each their own" you do what you do and I'll do what I do. I'm with Juan on this one. Enjoy the sunshine. Me, I have psoriasis, been to the dermatologist (many times) to check out the meds that help control it, and she tells me to just use the sun\tanning (WITH OUT BURNING) to control it , as the side effects of the meds are worse then the sun. I start tanning in October until the end of April or May, then it's outside to enjoy the sun with no shirt and shorts most of the time.

I will add that although the Simms Solarflex hoodys are what i wear the most. I do have two ultra light weight Simms button ups that on the absolute hottest, most humid days do keep you cooler than the solarflex type material. At a certain point the solarflax stuff will start to stick to you if it is really hot, hummid, calm. Thats when the more billowy button up does outperform.
