I was always under the impression that the lake belonged to all, or maybe I have that wrong, it belongs to no one.

Pro schmo, I fish were I want on public water, which unfortunately is not very often.

I don't understand why "weekend warriors" have to pirate these spots. They are fishing for a lot of money, go fish somewhere else for your eaters. If you want to mess with someone at least find someone who isn't a local guy.

You can't be serious?????????? Last I heard it was a free country. I hope most of the tourney guys don't feel this entitlement, "these are my spots" mentality. Reminds me of others feeling they are entitled to things.;:;popcorn

Lets set the story straight it is not a weekend warrior that we are talking about it is another guy in the tourney who was said to have moved in on him. So every one get your shit un bunched the tourney guys or no one else is making any claims or saying anything about other people who are just fishing. If that was the case i know Chad and he would have moved on as the lake is there for everyone but as i understand it if you are in the tourney it is kind of a gentlemens agreement that you dont move in on another guys spot if you bombed and they did good.

How can a local guy move in on a local? So if his plan b, c, or d spots has another tournament guy on a spot, you're suppose to move on?

Always going to have tailpipers in a tournament, gentlemen's agreement or not. But, is each scenario a tailpiper? I mean lets say I have fished the pillars before. Hear a couple guys are doing it and give it a try? I can't say that is exactly tailpiping, it's just that there is a small number of pillars compared to everything else. Not to say that is what happened I have no idea. A guy following your wake is BS for sure.

As far as anyone outside the tournament stealing spots, I would say go F yourself. It's everyone's water. Maybe I found some fish last night in the same spot and decided to fish today? Maybe I've caught fish in that spot for 20 years. Regardless, too many scenarios. In tournament fishing you better have a good plan B no matter what.

Looks like the weights were way down today. I can't imagine running to Peoria from Mobridge.

If your their on day one then the next some one is there is a low ball move. This wasn't any of the pillars around Mobridge. Maybe I am bias well I know I am becasue it involves a good friend but from being at the weigh in I am not the only one that thinks it was a wrong move but what ever it's over time to move on.

I guess my point is that after a rough day one, maybe the guy went to plan b. I'm sure he's been on those pillars before. That's the thing about being a local, they could have spots they haven't fished for years, but may have fished a lot in the past. I know its tough this time of year.
