I would not let them into my house, however mrs johnr did, and then she called me while they were touring my house, I asked her to put me on the speaker phone, and screamed get out of my house.
mrs johnr apologized, and let them finish their tour.

I voted yes, and am really happy the rest of you fellas voted it down, enjoy the constant increase and rape of your asset.

Now that the gov has seized all those bottles of Diddy's lube I hope they distribute it to property owners to lessen the pain from the ass fkn we are about to get.

Unless your land is in trust and untaxable, it's never really yours. If you don't pay the property tax, big brother will just take it from you. We're just one generation away from educating the masses to think like a Marxist and they'll vote for anything they're told too. Inheritance tax is another way they will take your land, they're already trying it in Europe.

Congrats to all who voted no and are about to be shocked that nothing substantial will be done and the increase will continue. Let’s reconvene next year and have this same discussion again until it’s voted down again 51-49. For representative purposes you are the white girl on the couch. The fine young gentleman represents government. Enjoy

Just so we're clear on inheritance, or estate taxes. There is no such animal until you hit an estate value of $13.61 million for a single person who passes away.

The exemption is $27.22 million for a married couple.

For the record, not many of us will ever pay a dime in estate/inheritance tax to the federal government. However, if you do have to pay estate taxes on an estate above the respective limits, it starts at 18% for the first dollar above the exemption and reaches 40% once you have an estate worth $1 million above the exempted amount.

So do you think that the inspection raised your appraised value?

Minot
The city just paid another $50,000 to the company investigating the Minot police chief for a total of $100,000. It would be cheaper just to fire him.

Was just announced on the news that the city of Minot will pay $3.5 million to cover their share of the cost to replace the bridge in Velva because the 1.5 billion they are spending on the flood enhancement project will increase the flow of the river and the downstream city needs a new bridge to handle the faster flow. 🤬

This will open up a can of worms and the city of Minot will have to kick money in for every down steam city and bridge from here to Canada.

THE SPENDING HAS ALREADY GOTTEN WORSE AFTER YOU PEOPLE VOTED TO KEEP PROPERTY TAXS.
