toss yer own garbage where you want and plow your own trails instead of depending on the govermint you buncha libs
Gladly would do that, however I have zero choice. They take the cash from me whether I use their service or not, and don't do their end of the payment purpose. They are the buncha libs.

Just watch when nothing is done….. they’ll have all sorts of excuses. This bill didnt do this or that plan doesn’t do that…… it’s setting up nicely for another kick the csn down the road sort of deal and we’ll be back here next year staring down higher property tax bills.

I have zero faith in our state’s best and brightest unless they are going to somehow benefit.

We can’t figure out budget cuts but by God we’ll make sure to mandate posting the 10 commandments in every school. That’ll fix everything.

Those are our state Republicans. I can’t wait for waldo or 3 roobster to chime in that they’re rhinos.

Allen, please read this again! The gain will be realized when it is sold.

That's not how the world works. It would create a HUGE disparity between what you pay for govt services compared to what your neighbor, who bought an adjoining property last year. You can't really think that's realistic, can you? Same neighborhood, same services, same value on the open market, and you would pay 1/XXth of what your neighbor pays.

Last fall, prior to election, I contacted the state tax department to request information as to the value of property that is currently exempt from property tax in ND. I was told that they do not keep track of that information as counties are not required to report the data. I then contacted Burleigh County asking if the value of tax exempt property was tracked and their answer was No! Not sure how our state legislature can have a meaningful discussion / debate relating to property tax reform if they do not know the value that is currently exempt from property tax. Throwing more $$ at the problem and suggesting property tax may be eliminated in 10-12 years is not my definition of reform. It appears that the corp welfare will continue directly as well as through the Commerce Department money laundering scheme and no meaningful REFORM will occur. I challenge our current legislature to prove me wrong.

If you think every home on the same block has the same value you must be smoking crack. That would be like me saying every 2020 F 250 crew cab short box has the exact same value, it has the exact same sqft dimension and the options, mileage, condition doesn't matter, that is the formula they use to place valuations on homes that they have never been in. Do you complain about the HUGE disparity of fuel tax? One truck gets 10 mpg the other gets 15 mpg. they both drive 1000 miles on the same road but one will pay 50% more fuel tax for the same use of the same road - services .
