toss yer own garbage where you want and plow your own trails instead of depending on the govermint you buncha libs
Gladly would do that, however I have zero choice. They take the cash from me whether I use their service or not, and don't do their end of the payment purpose. They are the buncha libs.toss yer own garbage where you want and plow your own trails instead of depending on the govermint you buncha libs
Sounded like blah, blah,blah...... telling the crack addicts to make changesThoughts on the governors speech re prp tax
Mr. Sunshine. You must be a joy to be around. Of course you’re well versed in blah, blah, blah.Sounded like blah, blah,blah...... telling the crack addicts to make changes
Those are our state Republicans. I can’t wait for waldo or 3 roobster to chime in that they’re rhinos.I have zero faith in our state’s best and brightest unless they are going to somehow benefit.
We can’t figure out budget cuts but by God we’ll make sure to mandate posting the 10 commandments in every school. That’ll fix everything.
See, I told you!!^^^^^blah, blah, blah
Allen, please read this again! The gain will be realized when it is sold.No one is pissed that their property is appreciating. We're pissed that some .gov tool gets to arbitrarily decide how much, and then slaps us with a tax on that unrealized gain.

If you think every home on the same block has the same value you must be smoking crack. That would be like me saying every 2020 F 250 crew cab short box has the exact same value, it has the exact same sqft dimension and the options, mileage, condition doesn't matter, that is the formula they use to place valuations on homes that they have never been in. Do you complain about the HUGE disparity of fuel tax? One truck gets 10 mpg the other gets 15 mpg. they both drive 1000 miles on the same road but one will pay 50% more fuel tax for the same use of the same road - services .That's not how the world works. It would create a HUGE disparity between what you pay for govt services compared to what your neighbor, who bought an adjoining property last year. You can't really think that's realistic, can you? Same neighborhood, same services, same value on the open market, and you would pay 1/XXth of what your neighbor pays.
I get that it would be exceedingly unusual for two adjacent properties to have the exact same value, but what kind of crack are you smoking if you think the cost of services provided haven't gone up in the XX years you own a piece of property? To deny inflation is some kind of Disney fantasy. If you think every home on the same block has the same value you must be smoking crack. You are the one that said “ same value “ not me. Inflation has not risen 10 to 15 percent year after year as the assessed property taxes have. With the government knowing they are going to get a 10 to 15 percent increase in their coffers gives them zero incentive to cut spending. Set taxes based on inflation like they do with SS not just a free for all at the whim of the assessor. your opinion is based on you making your living suckling at the taxpayer teet.I get that it would be exceedingly unusual for two adjacent properties to have the exact same value, but what kind of crack are you smoking if you think the cost of services provided haven't gone up in the XX years you own a piece of property? So, I've owned my current place for 13 years. I should expect that I only have to pay 2012 level of costs for the services provided?
Again, that's not how life and the world around us works.
