My longest walleye was just short of 31". Believe it or not it only weighed 4.2 pounds. Something was clearly wrong with this fish. Color was fine, fish was feisty but the belly of the thing was inverted. Had a normal sized head and tail but the body itself was strange. Measured it quick, weighed it and released without a picture. The biggest weight wise I caught went 29 3/4" and just short of 16" for girth. Didn't weight it so don't know exact weight but took pictures/video and released. I wasn't 100% sure if she would break 10 pounds but while I was taking the jigging spoon out of her mouth she had the tail of a fish hanging out her throat. The tail of the fish hanging out of her throat was around 3 inches wide and pretty fresh so I think that pushed her over 10 pounds. Between 3 of us we caught 9 fish that went over 26" up to 29 3/4" all the same day in the same spot. Won't soon forget that trip (Canada) we have video of all of them.

Sawyer,
Two just short of 10 pounds, quitters a few in the 7-8 pound range. Can't seem to break 10 though. I want one for the wall, hopefully 11 or better. Maybe this is the year.

Vollmer, trust me having video is not as good as it sounds. Turns out when my two older brothers, my old man and myself get together we sound like every crew on deadliest catch. Had no idea we sounded like drunken sailors till we watched the video.
Plus there is no video of the fights or anything that would have been much cooler, all we have on video is after the fish were already in the boat being measured. The only nice thing about the video is you can hear what the measurements actually are so they can't change over time . One of these days I will probably put one of them as my avatar.

I've landed an 8.25# ice fishing at New Johns in 2003, a 7.75# pulling cranks near Pick City in 2006, and helped bring in a 31"/11# eye out of Audubon on a guy's first day lake fishing ever in his life in 2013.

I know many people go an entire lifetime with ever getting on the whopper club list. I feel it's a privilege to be on it twice as a fair weather fisherman.g

My personal best is only a 7 pounder. This was on a fly in trip in Canada. Not alot of real big fish but the best fishing experience of my life. My Nephew and I boated 193 fish in one day. I never dreamt such fishing was possible.

My longest was 32" but it was during the skinny years on sakakawea so she only went 8.5lbs, my heaviest was 10.5lbs but she was only 27" long.

Also a quick reminder I mount fish part time now so if you guys get a pig this spring I'd be happy to do it for you, I can have them done in less than 3 months.

Any pics of your work?

My PB is 8#3oz. pulled from DL back in '98. Fishing of the road on at 6 mile bay bridge as the ice was just coming off the lake. Haven't broke the 6# mark since!;:;boohoo

Another Lurker Here, this is my first post. I am a bit spoiled as I lived across the street from Lake Erie for quite a while. PB is 12lb 4oz. It was caught with two other fish. Total for the night was 26lbs. I lost a bigger fish at the boat that night! Never had it that good again and probably never will.

11lb at Darling. I caught a 9 1/2lb. about 10 minutes after. Pretty fun day to say least. Biggest on Sak that I actually got in the boat is 9 1/2 and haven't been able to break the 10lb mark at the tailrace. I was fortunate enough to experience the awesome 80s of Sak when we would get one over 8lb about every 3 days of fishing.

When i was 7 or 8, we took a camping trip up to lake of the woods. We were trolling cranks off down riggers on a huge mud flat when 2 rods released. Dad set the hook on one and put it back in the holder, then proceeded to play the other rod until the line broke. He grabbed the other rod and ended up landing an 11 lb 14 oz pig. Here it had a shad rap in each corner of it's mouth, it actually hit both lines!

My personal best is only about 7 lbs, but it was well over 30". I don't know if it was sickly or what but everything about that fish was weird. Including the fact that i caught it while bass fishing. I was just working the shorelines throwing spinner baits. There was a promising looking stump right next to shore in about 1-2ft water, so i cast right next to it. That's when i hooked this eye. This was in early/mid summer when you would expect the eye's to be out in 15 ft or more.

Very fat 30" out of the sheyenne at Lisbon, wish I could have weighed her before I let her go. My 2nd best was a 28" at the same spot 2 weeks earlier.

MY PB was from April of '12 right in the Bismarck area. Sunup pitching shallow on a Tuesday morning. Jig and a minnow up in a very shallow spot where I had caught a 28" the morning before. This one measured right at 29.5". Both went back in the water.
