When I fosh with my father in law I make no noise whatsoever. Mostly just to drive him crazy. He's the kind of guy that has to keep his limit as fast as he can. Even when u could catch like 100 fish in an hour on Devils lake and u have all day to fish. He will go out and keep every fish and get his limit and quit.

So I quietly reel up the 13-15" fish and quick toss em back before he "makes" me keep em. he hates it and I love it. Ha

When I'm bassin' with my buddies and we got the lake to ourselves -- which we usually do, we usually go with a nice loud "awe, son". -- I think it started out as making fun of some redneck tv fishing guy we saw once, but then kinda stuck.

But when we're fishing walleyes with other boats around, we don't say shite, and only use the net if it's over 20 inches.
