As soon as I realized my garage had been broken into, I left so I wouldn't touch anything. A ladder was propped up, foot print on a cardboard box, visible finger print on my bike. I pointed all these things out to the cop and had to ask if he'd take pictures/finger prints/etc. I actually had to ask him. Rigged up a camera system now so I'll rely upon myself if the situation ever arises again.

Don't know about a new jail in Mandan, but the new Burleigh/Morton County Detention Center in Bismarck has been a target for months.

Typical of ND to be behind the curve. Remember all those 'gated' communities in the SW? It seems that's what a number of neighborhoods in the capital city need. It sucks that people of poor character believe that they have a right to other's property/goods as much as the owner.

I spend a lot of time outside in the yard and keep a close eye on the street. I also keep my goods inside of the house/garage so others don't know what I have or when I'm home. I know I can't shoot one of those bastages outside, but I surely want him/them to come inside and take a peek around. Not only will they 'live' but they'll be without the use of a leg and as they turn to run I'll pop 'em again in the ass cheek. Can't imagine the pain on stretching buttock and sphincter muscles when taking a dump with a bullet hole just a few inches away!

I shared a thread on Facebook from this Friday. Someone in our neighborhood (near Sunrise Elementary) had their glastron boat stolen from their driveway on Thursday night/Friday morning. That's just sad...

i live in the same area. The thieves must have driven by my place because some one decided they needed my wheel chalks more than I did.

Since those condos have been being built east of the Toyota dealership there have been tons of thefts in the area. I know the storage units have been hit several times.

in all seriousness it pretty f-ing sad how someone could break into to your house and your defending your property i.e. boat, trailer, wife, kids, etc etc and they become the f-ing victim. i get heated when even discussing this. if your on my property without permission in the middle of the night and i feel threatened whos dam fault is it.

My 40lb vizsla may be small but she has a pretty good bark on her. Which was especially annoying when kids are playing pokemon go at 4 a.m. outside of my house. I instantly put on 30 years in age when I exited the front of my house in my underwear to yell at kids playing by my lawn. Then I gave the pup a bacon-wrapped sweet potato treat and patted her on the head.

Happening here@ my work as well,late night parts dept,5 finger discounts....Wheel locks doesn't slow'em down either,they usually hit a dozen trucks when they come.

How do they get around the wheel locks. Some of them seem darn near impossible to get off. Heck i have trouble getting some of mine off with the key!!!

Cordless grinders with narrow cutter / grinder blades will cut through any metal up to about 2-3 inches thick fairly quickly and easily, so any sort of locking device made of metal is fairly useless now days.
I know what you say about locking wheel nuts they can be a real pain, they probably have a pile of common keys or stud removers that will just fit over the entire nut and remove it that way.

You could take the tongue hitch latch off that way it can not be fastened to the ball unless your thief carries one extra.
