VO5 hairspray is ethanol. It this "green" shit was serious we'd be converting to hydrogen IMO. Propane "destroys" the Earth.

Never seen one in person. Watched a show years back..think it was on Smithsonian channel. If I remember correctly the engines were very expensive to make and that was part of the reason they never mass produced them.

I remember when it came out. Have my old car books and one of them has an article on it. Believe Motot Trend. It made a high pitch Winney sound. Interest at the time but never thought much of it at the time other than being Mopar. db

Read or saw a clip about twenty yrs ago of a Ford 429 modded for H. The exhaust system would have to resist rust.

Believe there was an indy car that was turbine powered. Was not a quick accelerator, but once going no one could keep up. Exhaust pointed up, probably to generate more down force (pre wing cars).

My friends sister had a Mazda with a turbine engine. It lasted 35K, but she didn't know she was supposed to change oil.
Turbine or rotary?
The wenkel was a rotary not turbine if that's what your referring to for mazda...another very cool engine that could have been...IF it was done correctly.

This is more so what gives us innovation. Greed is good, it makes for gooder stuff.
Oh yeah that's why GM has the same 5.3 since what 1997? Oh I guess they did some research and development by making the 6.2...oh wait..that's just a bored out 5.3...never mind corporate greed is good.

Government motors is what you are talking about? Think they still owe those of us that pay taxes a few billion dollars. Government greed is even gooder.
