I currently carry a CCP, and believe this gets me around the goof up in the ND legislatures new law?
Or am I wrong.

Juan R the second to last paragraph says you can. I don't think this law changes anything with existing concealed carry permits as far as I know

and regarding the "i was hunting furs" argument: you are certainly free to take that to trial and use that as a defense. but, its no guarantee the trier of fact will believe you. it will depend on the circumstances at the time you were written up. so, i don't consider it a "loophole". its just a possible defense at trial.
