Health Care Cost

Does anybody know average cost of health Insurance for a 28yr old, 26yr old, with 2 kids 3 & 6 yrs old, $500.00 deductible?

decent family plans run you upwards of $1200 out of pocket i think. our group with dental and vision is $1240. i think they can be gotten on the exchange for a bit less. but, $500 deductible?! i am not even sure there is such a thing. $2500 per person or $5000 family would be more common and realistic. go to any of the insurance provider websites and you can shop. healthcare.gov is a decent place too if you are looking to have it subsidized a bit. most families qualify for a least a small subsidy. some can be pretty big.

If $500 was available, given their ages I wouldn't buy it. You'll pay a lot less for a $2500.

$500 deductible for myself and my wife would cost us around $3200 a month today where a $1750 deductible is around 2800 a month
