I really love food. I will eat anything. I can't think of one thing I don't like. Hell I'll even drink miller lite if that's all U got

Oh if you are bringing beer into this topic, I have never found a beer I wouldn't at least finish.

I don't eat liver, heart, or brains. Won't eat lobster or mushrooms either. Have tried them all many times and every time i ended up puking. A man has to know his limitations.
Squash, watermelon, muskmelon, or cantelope are on the no eat list too.
Forgot the sweet potatoes and pudding. Just thinking about pudding makes me gag.
Can't eat olives either.

Kiddos eat what we do with a few small exceptions. #1 doesn't like BBQ sauce so she gets her meat without it. #2 isn't fond of lettuce so if we're having salads she gets some sort of veggie instead. We don't make the kids overstuff themselves but do encourage "eat what you take", if they're full however, then they're full. Typically that means no desert and no snack later though.

I'm not very picky, but the stuff I don't like, I REALLY don't like. I won't eat broccoli even if it's hidden in something. Don't like squash either. Peppers are OK in salsa but I pretty much hate them in everything else. I don't like waterfowl or sharptails. I'll skip liver, heart, kidneys, and brains as well.

Some tastes are acquired. What tastes good to you, doesn't to someone else. Almost nothing I wont try once except slimey sea spiders AKAI. I sometimes get into the Dagwood Sammys before bedtime and the wife makes me eat out of her vision. Hell if its in the fridge it should be good to go right. My favorite midnight snack is peanut butter and mayo on fresh white bread (acquired taste) remember. Munch on people.:;:cheers

I was an extremely picky eater when I was a kid and it was a constant battle for the nuns in parochial school to get me to eat any of the soggy doughy German food the old Lunch Ladies prepared. I once spent the entire day at my desk in first grade with a plate of jello setting in front of me because I wouldn't eat it at lunch. ;:;rofl At the end of the day the mean old nun wouldn't let me go home and my mother had to come in the school and get me so she could take me home. Home team=1, Nun=0. To this day a mouthful of jello starts me gagging. Can't even handle jello shots. ;:;barfFinally got real meat and potatoes meals when I got to college and I grew 12" taller in 15 months after getting out of high school. (I was 5'1" when I graduated from high school) Still won't touch beets, green peppers, squash, cantalope, lemon pie, raw peas (love pea soup :;:huh), raw onions, cooked carrots (love raw carrots:;:huh), nearly all fruit and of course jello. The one thing that I love that no one else in the family would eat was the neck of the turkey. Never had to fight for that. The exception to all this is that I will eat pretty much anything if you put chocolate on it, including jello. Won't eat mint chocolate tho. Geez, forgot how weird I actually am. :;:exactly

i have to throw my couple of cents into this. Growing up, if we didn't eat supper, we went to bed hungry. through high school and the wrestling program, Ive found that any and all food is good food. with one exception. sweet potatoes. id take liver, heart, tongue, oxtail, or lutefisk over sweet potatoes any day of the week.

Im pretty sure he forgot this thread was about food!

If my wife or I cook dinner the kids eat a little bit of everything end of story

Ive got a friend who buys a package of turkey hotdogs everytime he comes over knowing that his daughter will eat nothing else.
I get people not liking certain things, but ill be damned if my kid is going to tell me what there going to eat every meal.

And who ever nocked brussel sprouts try sauteing them in bacon! If still a issue melt cheese on them. Im definatly fatter from eating my veggies!

My wife takes great care and effort to prepare meals and if ANYONE complains or gripes they are MORE THAN WELCOME to bring your own whatever and cook it yourself. I have a stove, pots, pans, and utensils for you to use. We serve meat and potatoes for the most part here at Fort KDM and it that's not good enough for you, the driveway heads east. Got ZERO tolerance for picky, spoiled, don't know what going without means, inconsiderate, rude people. That's probably why we don't have holidays at our house very often. (Grin)

I guess I usually try to keep mine at normal body temp. I don't like them to be cold nor do I like them to be sweaty. Not sure what this has to do with picky eating on a male dominated forum though????

Pears. I can't eat pears. The smell of them make me gag.

After a bunch of beer I will eat pretty much anything. Otherwise, I can be kinda picky.
